|
James Dunlop specializes in professional societies, professional service firms and health and education related organizations. In his consulting career Jim has worked with over 250 associations and other groups at national, state, and local levels. Prior to forming his own practice in 1983, he was a senior staff member and Director of Association Consulting Services for Arthur D. Little, Inc. While at ADL, Jim also consulted to health care organizations, professional service firms, and manufacturing companies on organization, marketing, and diversification issues. Jim received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his BS degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy. Jim authored the book Leading the Association: Striking the Right Balance Between Staff and Volunteers, published by the Foundation of the American Society of Association Executives. He also contributed a chapter to ASAE’s book, Fundamentals of Association Management: Marketing. |
